“In mindfulness one is not only restful and happy, but alert and awake. Meditation is not evasion; it is a serene encounter with reality.”

- Thich Nhat Hanh

Day of Mindfulness

The Flowers of Peace sangha and the Baltimore and Beyond Mindfulness Community, united through the lineage of the Venerable Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village Community, join together to offer a Day of Mindfulness. Spend a weekend day filled with mindfulness, meditation, community, and rest. Our Day of Mindfulness will be led by Dharma teacher, Marisela Gomez, and practiced alongside friends. Whether it’s your first time meditating or a continuation of a longer practice, all are welcome!
